About Us…
So How do a Texan & a Kiwi become besties?
Quite a few years ago, we embarked on a journey of discernment to consecrated life within the Catholic Church (We’re talking poverty, chastity and obedience y’all).
Meg was a consecrated lay woman for 7 years and Caroline for 12 (you can find more on that in our posts...). God in his goodness taught us a lot through our time in consecrated life and eventual discernment to the vocation of marriage.
As we each walked our own path, transitioning back to life in the world (figuring out clothes, jobs, weddings, babies and more babies) our friendship and mutual enrichment has only grown stronger.
We created this space to share some of what this profound journey has taught us and provide a space for you to reflect on your own path with God, in big times and small ones as well.
About Caroline…
Welcome! I'm Caroline, I love learning about everything that makes us healed, happy & whole. I love reading non-fiction and I’m currently meandering my way through writing a memoir of the beautiful vocational journey I’ve walked through life. I am married to my beloved husband, Lawrence & mum to Faith, 3 years & Kolbe 14 months. Our family wouldn't be complete without our gorgeous wee dog, Breeze. We are blessed to live near the Ocean in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand!

About Megan…
Hi there! I’m Megan Philip. I love to write about discernment, the feminine genius, prayer…and would love to be the next Agatha Christie! My two greatest gifts this side of heaven are my husband Rijo and daughter Mariyam. We are moving to Texas from Washington DC this summer. I’ve been in DC for the last 7 years: studying theology at the John Paul II Institute, working for various ministries within the Church and surviving Rijo’s residency! I love to think about what really makes us free and how to create a life of intentionality and beauty.
